We hope all our members have had a successful lambing season. Even if you have never shown before, do consider entering the Society Summer Show on 21st July. It is never too soon to look critically at your stock and decide how you will get your favourites to look their best in the show ring in July!

If you want to buy or sell pedigree Cotswold sheep then our annual Breed Sale which takes place on Saturday 3rd August 2019 as part of Voyce Pullin's Rare, Minority and Traditional Breeds Sale at Cirencester Market, Driffield is the place to be. All sheep are inspected and graded so you can buy and sell with confidence. The Entry Form and Conditions of Sale are to be found under the Downloadable Forms tab on this website.

Stone Head BiburyThe Cotswold sheep, often referred to as the 'Cotswold Lion' was introduced to the UK by the Romans. Their wool known as the 'Golden Fleece' was an important export. It not only played a major role in the development of many Cotswold towns and villages, but also in the finances of the nation. Sadly times have changed, and they are now classified as a rare breed.
