SHEARING SERVICES FOR SMALL & HOBBY FLOCKS

Offering reliable and friendly shearing services tailored for small and hobby flocks in the Cotswold region.

  • Rates: £60 call-out (includes travel and setup)
  • Sheep: £2.80 per ewe, £5.60 per ram
  • Experienced and gentle handling with my own dog to assist with gathering if needed.
  • Happy to check teeth and udders on request and offer advice where needed.
  • Availability: Primarily weekends, with some weekday evenings possible.

BLADE SHEARING

Fred the Shearer offers Blade Shearing for small flocks! Experienced with long wool breeds.

Blade shearing is gentler and less stressful for the sheep - but it takes longer:

The cost is £15 per ram and £12.50 per ewe (depending on numbers) + mileage at £0.50p per mile.
